The Meaning Of The Bikers For Christ Patch<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Many people comment favorably about our patch.\u00a0 It has many interesting designs and colors.\u00a0 We run a simple two-piece patch, that claims “no territorial” rocker, or “M.C.” designation.\u00a0 Our colors have been carefully and prayerfully chosen so as not to identify with or antagonize any other group.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Top Rocker:\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>We have three colors in our top rocker \u2013 making no color claims whatsoever.\u00a0 The blue is a simple outline.\u00a0 The black symbolizes Jesus’ death on the cross and that we are to be dead to sin and alive to Christ.\u00a0 The red symbolizes the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ whose blood was shed for the sins of the world.\u00a0 We acknowledge that we are all sinners (no better than anyone else), and that we too need the cleansing blood of Christ in our lives on a daily basis \u2013 cleansing and forgiving our sins \u2013 washing us whiter than snow.<\/p>\n

Sword:\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>The silver sword in the center of the patch symbolizes Hebrews 4:12 and Ephesians 6:17 which clearly state that the “Sword of the Spirit” is the Word of God and that it cuts to the heart.<\/p>\n

Wings:<\/b> The wings are symbolic of the Holy Spirit’s presence and power in the life of the believer.\u00a0 They are all in a myriad of colors so as not to identify with any other group.<\/p>\n

Open Bible:<\/b>\u00a0 This tells us that God’s Word is to be opened, studied and applied to all areas of our daily life.\u00a0 We believe our lives should be an open book before the world, not full of jive in hypocrisy.<\/p>\n

Flames:<\/b>\u00a0 These, above the wings symbolize the fire of God \u2013 the Holy Spirit’s purging influence as He burns the chaff off, cleansing and changing the believer’s life.\u00a0 The “777” on the Sword:\u00a0 this symbolizes a Trinity of perfection \u2013 Father, Son and Holy Spirit.<\/p>\n
